Leeds Arts University Anthony Earnshaw Bursary

Zsazsa Cooper-Williams wins the first Anthony Earnshaw prize on the strength of her Drawing a Day project. Runners up were fellow students Susan Ragan and Ruthie Reynolds.

The Anthony Earnshaw Bursary was set up by artist Patrick Hughes in memory of his friend, the Surrealist artist Anthony Earnshaw, in 2016.  The Bursary provides assistance towards costs for students studying Access to HE Diploma (Art & Design) at Leeds Arts University.

The bursary is awarded annually to students studying the Leeds Arts University Access to HE Diploma.

Gail Earnshaw introduced the awards with a few words about the work of her late husband Anthony Earnshaw, before meeting the winners.
